JS Humidifiers’ service department has become the first humidification engineering company in the UK to be accredited under both the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment scheme (CHAS) and the SAFEcontractor scheme. The schemes set out to assess a company’s health and safety procedures in order to provide an independent audit that enables other organizations to accept a contractor on-site without carrying out extensive health and safety assessments themselves.

All our engineers are proficient in the latest health and safety protocols to safeguard themselves as well as clients. We are very proud to be the only humidification company in the UK to have achieved both these standards.”

In centralising the assessment process in this way, administration is greatly reduced and inconsistencies are removed between different organisations assessment procedures. Also, clients can provide more rapid access to their premises for qualified contractors and contractors can become more competitive through not spending so much time bogged down in documentation.
