TotalCare Humidifier Plan at Maintec '05

JS Humidifiers is launching a new type of humidifier service contract at the Maintec ’05 exhibition at the NEC, on stand B24, from 1st to 3rd March. The TotalCare Humidifier Plan provides a flexible schedule of service visits throughout the year as well as regular monitoring by a specialist humidifier engineer. Routine inspections ensure that optimum performance is maintained and any work anticipated well in advance, enabling facilities managers to fit and forget their humidifiers.
This new type of contract is ideal for any site with around 10 humidifiers or more, as it removes any requirement for the on-site personnel to become involved with the day-to-day running of the units, which would otherwise take a large amount of the facilities manager’s time. Humidifiers are essential in commercial air conditioning and ventilation systems but are rarely maintained correctly. They are regularly out of service or running inefficiently as a result. The impact on production and people can be significant.
The TotalCare Humidifier Plan from JS removes the need for maintenance and facilities managers to worry about their humidifiers at all. If any work needs to be carried out then the engineer will do so under the agreement and as the humidification system is being closely monitored by a specialist who visits the site on a regular basis, downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.
The maintenance agreement also provides customers with 5% off all service spares, extended warranties, service history reports and recommended spares lists. Any required spares are also ordered in by the engineer prior to any service visit to ensure that the correct parts are on site at the appropriate time.
JS Humidifiers has the largest specialist humidification service team in Europe with a separate service division based in the Republic of Ireland. The company will service and supply spares for all makes and models of humidifiers, which is difficult for other non-specialist maintenance companies to do as there is such a wide variety of models on the market. Engineers require up-to-date training and knowledge of each individual unit. Add to this the fact that these systems contain water and must be subject to L8 testing requirements and this often makes humidifier maintenance a very complex issue.
Maintenance professionals requiring technical advice and support are able to contact JS and talk to a specialist humidifier engineer free of charge on 01903 850200.
Also, anybody unsure of their humidifier requirements or wishing to have their units checked-over can call JS for a free site survey. An engineer will visit their site and verify the humidifiers’ running performance as well as provide advice on lower energy alternatives, humidifier selection and position, and health and safety implications, including Legionnaires disease.
