JetSpray HP - high pressure spray humidifier

The JetSpray HP consists of a series of stainless steel nozzles mounted in a bank of air turbulators spraying towards a re-evaporating droplet separator.

An inverter driven control panel and high pressure modulating pump supply water to the nozzles at between 15-70bar. The air turbulators, in which the nozzles are mounted, spin the air mixing it with the high pressure spray and increasing the total distance the moisture travels before reaching the droplet separator. This ensures maximum absorption.

The fibrous droplet separator is positioned 90cm downstream from the nozzle bank and acts as a re-evaporation system. Any unabsorbed moisture is removed from the air and flows down the fibrous wall where it is evaporated by the air flowing through it. Unlike other mesh-based droplet separators that send this moisture to drain, the JetSpray HP separator evaporates this moisture, reducing running costs and improving performance.

 Hygiene

The JetSpray HP is VDI 6022 approved, demonstrating that it has been independently tested to stringent hygiene standards.

The humidifier incorporates automated flush and drain cycles to purge the water lines when the unit is shut down. This removes the possibility of water stagnating in the pipework.

In addition to this, the JetSpray HP has a PureFlo Ag+ silver ion dosing filter on the water supply line. Silver is a very effective anti-microbial agent and has a residual effect throughout the humidifier and droplet separator. The fibrous droplet separator is also impregnated with silver to further suppress microbial growth.

JetSpray High Pressure Humidifier

 Features

  • Up to 780 l/hr output

  • ±2%rH humidity control

  • Safe 15-70 bar operation

  • Silver ion dosing

  • Auto-flush & drain for hygiene

  • Advanced digital controller

  • Pressure & 3-stage control

  • Stainless steel nozzles

  • Low noise operation

  • Very long pump life

  • 1.5m totalled installed length
  •  Low Energy

The JetSpray HP can provide up to 780 l/hr of moisture to a duct while operating on just 0.55kW. As the unit does not use compressed air it is much more economical to operate than other compressed air and water spray humidifiers, and much quieter.

As well as providing low energy humidification in the winter the JetSpray HP also offers the benefit of adiabatic cooling in the summer. Humidifying the exhaust air from a building can cool it by up to 12°C. A heat recovery system can then transfer some of this thermal energy to the incoming air, reducing the load on the chillers.

     Control panel

The digital control panel has a backlit display and shows the user operational status, humidity set point, ambient humidity, purge and flush cycle operations, alarm status, hours run, service interval times and fault diagnostics.

     Pump

The extremely quiet hermetically sealed piston pump is constructed for a long service life of over 20,000 hours. Its low maintenance, variable frequency asynchronous motor allows a constant operation from 10-60Hz, with the oil level being the only required maintenance.
