JS Humidifiers is offering a new CPD seminar on Humidification and Psychrometrics to H&V consultants, specifiers and contractors. The seminar covers the reasons for humidification, the psychrometric process, load calculations, the different types of cold water and steam humidifiers and the cost comparisons between them.

It also details the benefits of using low energy cold water humidifiers to provide up to 13oC of evaporative cooling to air handling systems. As well as using humidifiers on the supply air, combining them with a heat recovery system on the return air can provide cheap pre-cooling of supply air.

The hour-long CIBSE approved seminar is available free of charge and enables HVAC consultants and contractors to get up to speed on the latest in humidifier technology and gain CPD points during a lunch break in their own office.
