The Neptronic SKE is more compact than any other resistive humidifier, controls humidity to within +/-1%RH (with RO water) and delivers up to 80kg of steam per hour from a single unit.

The Neptronic SKE does not require replacement boiling cylinders and, due to its self-cleaning elements, is very low maintenance. It also incorporates a scale inhibitor system to reduce the effects of limescale build-up and an AFEC system to prolong humidifier life.

The unit's patented AFEC® (Anti-Foaming Energy Conservation) System protects the heating elements from burning out, enabling them to last much longer. The system combines three safety features:

1 - Internal Electronic Water Level Sensor

Regular float switches can fail to give realistic water level readings due to the action of boiling and foam formation. Too little water is added to the tank, due to the level switch floating on the foam instead of on the water. This results in the elements burning out in the foam. By having an internal solid state sensor this cannot happen.

2 - Internal & External Temperature Sensors

Other units only have external temperature sensors to indicate when the elements are overheating. The addition of an internal sensor gives added protection from element burn-out.

3 - Internal foam sensor

The internal foam sensor conserves energy by responding to foaming only when necessary rather than having preset, regular drain cycles to avoid foam damage.

The Neptronic SKE is the only steam humidifier in the UK to come with super-dry steam pipes as standard.

These steam distribution pipes provide an evaporation distance 40% less than standard pipework.

Each pipe has tiny internal tubes that take the steam from the centre of the pipe, where it is at its hottest and driest, guaranteeing condensation-free, dry steam delivery.
